Do something different...

...the first steps towards permanent change.

We expect that people leave our sessions with questions and answers in equal measure. This isn’t a cop-out... if a training session doesn’t provoke questions in your mind then it hasn’t worked.

We want people to leave our sessions and ask themselves, "why do I always react like that?" or "what would my life look like if I was able to...?".

leave

We don’t want delegates to walk away thinking "that was fun... but it doesn’t really apply to me!".

However, to believe that a few hours spent with a trainer (even a bald one) will magically change 20 years of learned behavior is naive. Training is the first step of the most exciting journey possible.

Delegates who feel stretched and challenged - don’t come to our courses for a quiet day out of the office! Prepare to challenge and be challenged. Real thinking is very tiring and it’s not for the faint-hearted. If you don’t feel tired at the end of the session...then you probably haven’t been properly involved. Most of all, at the end of any time spent with us, we want you to be asking yourself... "What if...?".

Time spent focused on the stuff that makes a difference - not time spent on telling you how clever we are for knowing lots of business models (yes, we do, by the way!) or time spent on random, unrelated topics. We know how valuable time is; so we don’t waste it. We believe that time spent helping people understand why they act like they do or feel the things they feel is a brilliant use of time. Confront people with who they are, don’t pull your punches and always be clear about your expectations.

Often unscripted, always spontaneous sessions - we have no time for lazy training! Reading from a script or showing fifty slides is lazy. Of course our sessions focus on the agreed topic, but our trainers must be adept at following and leading group interest. We know that being allowed to explore a topic from different perspectives and viewpoints allows our delegates time and context to start feeling a change. All this means our trainers are some of the most creative and instinctive people we know. Most importantly they will have grown-up conversations and often ask tough, direct questions... we find this works.
